Digital Art Requirements for Printing

Minimum specifications are required to achieve good print results. Please follow the instructions below. If you need help creating art, please feel free to call or visit us and we will guide you through the process.

If you are ready to send your file, please e-mail us if the file is less than 15MB or fill out the submit a file form.

We are fluent in the following
industry standard applications:

Other file types that may work:

Important information for Adobe Illustrator Adobe Illustrator:

  • All colors must be converted to spot colors with the correct Pantone Solid Coated #s.
  • All fonts must be converted to outlines or curves.
  • Please submit files with art sized for printing.

Important information for Corel Draw Corel Draw:

  • All colors must be converted to spot colors with the correct Pantone Solid Coated #s.
  • All fonts must be converted to outlines or curves.
  • Please submit files with art sized for printing.

Important information for Adobe Photoshop Adobe Photoshop:

  • Files should be saved in .psd, .eps, or .tiff formats ONLY.
  • NO .gif, .jpg, .png files for separation purposes.
  • Supply an additional .jpg in CMYK mode to communicate color representation if the file you supply us with does not display color the way you want it printed.
  • Resolutions should be at least 300 dpi.
  • Supply a printed color hard copy as a "proof" that will be used in the separation process since all monitors can display colors differently.
  • Compress large files (over 100MB) using WinRar or WinZip. You can upload files up to 100MB using our submit a file.
  • Please provide both a flattened version and one that is not flattened.

Other considerations:

  • Placing a raster image (.jpg, .png, .bmp, .gif, .tiff, etc) into a vector file (.ai, .eps, .svg, .cdr) does not make the file a vector file.
  • Graphic files downloaded from the web are typically very low quality. Raster images that are less than 1MB in file size are probably of poor quality. Please submit the file to us to consult.
  • Please supply us with any fonts used in your file in case adjustments are required.
  • Please supply all linked images separately.
